Beyond the Basics: Puppy Class is open to puppies 8 to 20 weeks in age.

Class is 6 weeks long, 45 minute long training with an optional 15 minute playtime.

You may join at puppy class at any age between 8 and 20 weeks old, but all 6 weeks must be completed in order to graduate with an AKC STAR puppy certificate!

Puppy Class is all about making the most of your puppy’s critical socialization period. For a puppy, socialization during the beginning weeks of life are crucial for their long term wellbeing. CIC’s Puppy Class will lay the foundation for a strong relationship between you and your puppy. Our class will also provide important life skills that can assist you reach a goal of them becoming a therapy, assistance, and/or service dog.

Vaccine Requirements

Puppies of all ages will need to have started their DA2PP (or equivalent) vaccine series before beginning class, ideally 7 days prior to the first day of class. We strongly encourage you to discuss other vaccines with your veterinarian, including but not limited to, Bordetella, Parainfluenza, Leptospirosis, and Canine Influenza.
Puppies 16 weeks and older are required to have their Rabies vaccine.

Sundays at 10:30am to 11:30am

March 16, 23, 30, April 6, 13 & 20th

Canine and human participants must be able to tolerate other dogs and humans. Children are welcome but must be under direct supervision from a parent at all times.
