For over a decade, Canine Inspired Change has worked to foster community through canine connection.

Through the healing power of everyday pets, we impact the lives of vulnerable and at-risk youth through socialization, empathy building, and creating self-confidence.

Different ways to volunteer

  • Do your dog and you love people of all ages? Become a CIC volunteer therapy dog team!

  • Open to students entering 3rd - 6th grade in fall 2024, join Canine Inspired Change for four days of:

    • social-emotional learning activities

    • dog training skills and dog agility

    • crafts

    • guest speakers and more!

  • Ways to volunteer at CIC if you don’t have a dog:

    1. Awareness booth or table

    2. Summer Camp

    3. Lead a class ie: Crafting Canines

    4. Host a fundraiser

With a flexible commitment, our volunteers dedicate 1-3 hours to do good with their dog. In turn, dogs feel a sense of purpose, loyalty, and tail-wagging joy.
