Recreational nosework for real life dogs.

Nosey Dogs Club is a fun, low-stakes nosework class designed to let dogs do what they do best — sniff! This class focuses on enrichment, confidence-building, and mental exercise through simple scent games and searches that are accessible for every dog.

There is no competition, no pressure, and no prior nosework experience required. Dogs will learn to use their natural scent seeking abilities in a supportive, relaxed environment while building focus, problem-solving skills, and confidence. Activities are tailored to the individual dog, making this class a great fit for shy dogs, busy brains, or dogs who just love to explore with their nose.

Nosey Dogs Club is all about having fun with your dog and is not designed for folks hoping to attend competitions or do high level scent work.

CIC COVID PROTOCOLS UPDATED FEBRUARY 2024

Canine and human participants must be able to tolerate other dogs and humans. Proof of canine vaccination is not required, however it is expected that all canine participants will be up-to-date on their canine parvovirus, distemper, canine hepatitis, bordetella, and rabies.

We not only learned the classic puppy skills, but also practical tools—like pattern games—that we can continue to use during the teenage years. At the end of each class, there was even a bit of playtime for the puppies. Why can’t all puppy classes be like this one?!?! CIC cares about more than just teaching your pup basic obedience skills: they do that PLUS focus on the emotional wellbeing of both pup and owner.
